Avian Conservation Award

The Avian Conservation Award (previously the James L. Baillie Student Research Award) is open to any student conducting ornithological research that will make a substantial contribution towards the conservation of birds in Canada. Funds are granted for student stipend, research or travel costs associated with the project. The award is funded with revenue generated by participants of Birds Canada’s Birdathon and is administered by SCO-SOC. One award of up to $2000 is made annually.
